Brook Taube lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, with his wife and four children. Despite having lived and worked in New York City for over 25 years, he determined a few years ago that North Carolina is a better area to reconcile work and family life. He is the father of three sons, one daughter, two brothers, two nieces, and two nephews.

Brook Taube graduated from Harvard College in 1992 with a bachelor's degree. Brook and his siblings were encouraged by their parents' dedication to education. Brook's mother was a career special education teacher in the local New Hampshire school system. He grew up and attended public schools from kindergarten to high school before enrolling at Harvard. His father worked in mental health, family law, and education as a professor, lawyer, and judge. Brook B. Taube has always prioritized education, and he continues to do so in his family and how he philanthropically gives back.

Brook Taube 's career as a seasoned and successful entrepreneur has focused on financial services and expanded to include healthcare, technology, and other growing industries. He was recently an early supporter of Progressive Therapeutics Inc. (www.PTI.life), whose purpose is to improve the mental health of millions of people worldwide. PTI's first focus is on female emotional problems, with additional solutions for broader mental health conditions in the works.

Brook Taube has also worked with early-stage technology businesses to develop procedures for adequately procuring and anonymizing data, establishing norms for how technology should be utilized. In addition, Brook Taube delivers over 30 years of expertise as an executive, board member, and investor to firms with developing teams that benefit from his strategic direction and assistance in acquiring finance.
